Monarch PEAK Migration

Date: 09/29/2000

Number: 1

As we were watering our flowers today my daughter Kendall (2), my niece Leslie (who is visiting from college this weekend)and I observed three or four Monarch butterflies. I am happy to say that they seemed to be enjoying themselves immensely as they fluttered about. We are having very mild weather this week and I am thrilled that we are able to be out of doors. I am very happy that I made the effort all summer to keep those flowers alive so that the Monarch's can stop by and get nourishment on their journey. I look forward to seeing them again on their way North.
