We have hatched 5 monarch caterpillars in our first grade
classroom. 4 have turned into butterflies already : 1 male and 3
females. We still have one chrysalis left to go! We put the monarchs
in our butterfly garden and say"Goodbye! Have a nice trip to Mexico!"
when it's time to let them go. We live in Vermont, in the US. The
monarchs have a long trip to go! From Mrs. Beecher's class
