Last week we released four beautiful monarchs grown in our classroom on milkweed leaves from our garden and watched them leave "for Mexico", my first graders thought. Today, we were on our way to recess and there were three back in the garden enjoying the Mexican sunflowers! Could these be the same ones or others on their way to Mexico? We're not sure!
