Monarch PEAK Migration

Date: 10/04/2000

Number: 1

We have seen a few Monarch Butterflies fluttering around in the area Saturday through Wednesday, October 1-4. Very few, maybe less than 25 in our yards. It is so dry. We are not allowed to water except with a hand held hose. We are hoping we will have another big wave of Monarchs before long. They are beautiful!
We have a cold front coming in Wednesday night or Thursday sometime. I guess it will push the butterflies on down south.
