Monarch PEAK Migration

Date: 10/10/2000

Number: 1

After four days of daytime temps in the 40's, and night time temps in the 30's, I was suprised to count almost 30 Monarch butterflies in my gardens today when the temp got up to 57°. They were all nectaring on flowers of various kinds. This is so unusual for us, both weatherwise and Monarch wise.
