Monarch PEAK Migration

Date: 10/13/2000

Number: 1

As of last Friday (10/13/00), hundreds of monarchs have made a temporary home in our blooming Anaqua tree which stands in our front yard. They (along with the humming birds and various bees) appear to be ingesting the nectar produced by the abundant and fragrant flowers of this tree. As of today (10/17/00), there only seems to be about 1/4 of the original population of monarchs remaining.
