We witnessed approximately 500 to 1000 monarchs passing over our property yesterday and today, following a cool front. At dusk last night, the monarchs settled into a Cedar Elm on the dry creek to roost for the night. This morning around 9am the monarchs in the area took flight, and could be seen everywhere, headed south-southwest.
