We planted our butterfly garden in the spring of 2000. Now we are planting tulips this fall. Students are researching to choose more plants to add to the garden to help unpave-the-way for Monarchs. We will collect and share more data as the gardens develop. It will be interesting to see if we do attract more Monarchs in the next season than we did this past year. During our Plants unit in science, we learned about the importance of preserving habitat for pollinators.
