We planted our Red Emporer tulips today! We had planted a variety of other tulips earlier, but now we can participate in the Journey North project in the spring. We placed our tulips in a small section of our wildflower garden, one bulb for each of us, in alphabetical order, so we can tell which tulip is "ours" when they grow. The weather was bright and beautiful, about 68 degrees and sunny. This was an enjoyable community building event as everyone helped with the purchasing, the digging, the planting, and the watering of our tulips.
