Today was warm with a slight wind and I saw one last Monarch feeding on Frostweed. It was pretty tattered and did not seem to be in a hurry. Last week they were clustered all over and then they left without laying. None of the local milkweed had eggs and all they seemed to be interested in was feeding.
I think the end is near.
