We planted our bulbs on Oct 12 and 13. Each child in each classroom
planted their own bulb. Each classroom had a color theme and specific area
to plant. Each student helped dig, fertilize and placed thier bulb in the
ground after measuring the size and information.
It was a beautiful fall day for us with temperatures around 71. Our
longitude is 70 and Lat. 43.5.
We are most excited about this, as we have had a school garden for three
years now and this is our newest project in areas we just created this
year. The kids were very excited. Some of the kindergarteners were looking
for their flowers the next day!! Our school has about 130 students so
come spring we will have many beautiful flowers to welcome everyone to
Cornish Elementary.
