We had to wait to plant our bulbs this year because they were out of the red emperor bulbs. They finally came last week. We planted them on Thursday with Miss Catanzaro's class. It was lots of fun planting the bulbs. But, we did get a little dirty. First we dug bone meal into the dirt. We used little spades. It was hard digging the dirt. We found some big worms in the dirt. That is good. It means the dirt will have lots of oxygen in it. We learned a lot of science while planting our bulbs.
