I heard Tundra Swans for the first time last evening, at about 5 pm, and another flock again just now at about 1 pm (11/9/00). I'd estimate about 30-50 birds, flying in rough V formation. Their calls get right into your soul! Their arrival seems so closely related to the cold temperatures that hit this week.
