On Friday November 3rd, 2000, forty-five fourth graders in Petoskey, Michigan planted their tulip bulbs. Each student was able to place their tulip bulb into the soil in the new flower box in front of our school. Each bulb was planted with a handful of black soil. Our tulip bulbs were planted on the north side of our school. We told the bulbs good night and have a great winter's rest before covering them up.
