Our last monarch of the season was sited on our school playground, in the area with trees, on the afternoon of November 1st. We got really excited because we hadn't seen any since our 1st early frost. The weather was sunny and around 70 degrees. The monarch was moving around on gusts of wind. A few days later we had snow.
