Our tulip garden was planted on Nov. 16, 2000 in the shape of 2 M's for merrick-Moore Elem. School. The soil in our area of NC is mostly clay so we had to add some composted humus for better drainage. We predict that our tulips will emerge on April 18 and will bloom on April 28.
