On Tuesday, Dec. 5th, four classes got together at Enota Elementary and planted 100 tulips by the flagpole in the front of our school. Before we went out, we learned about other bulbs. We looked at onions and garlic, cooked fried onion rings and fresh garlic bread, and had a story and poem about onions. We made our halls smell delicious with the fragrance of cooking onion and garlic! We are excited about this tulip project and anticipate the appearance of the first green tip next spring!
