We planted over 30 tulips on October 4, 2000. Of these 6 of the Red Emperors will be our 'official' ones to record. We even planted an experimental garden. We planted these tulips just days before a large snowstorm. To our disappointment, the snow has long since melted, leaving us with only 2" of ice!
