Observed huge flock of robins early this morning. They were feeding on the school grounds. Temp. 42 deg. F. cool, clear.
Later in the day, around 4:00, they were still there, feeding in the St. Augustine grass. They were fat, intent and totally wonderful to watch. They were all generally facing the same direction: north!

Spotted 2-3 along bayous 25 miles south of flock location New Year's day...Seems very early.
