Our butterfly garden is covered in approximately 5 inches of snow. Though we are not gardening at this time, in our kindergarten classroom we are embarking on a new investigation into the secrets of life below the surface of the earth, both living and non-living (fossil record, worms, seeds, etc.)and learning to be caretakers of our earth.
