Prelude to Spring. "Our" American Goldfinches have arrived at the thistle feeders a little early this year. About 15 so far. We usually get 100+ by Feb. Goldfinches, like Robins, flock here in the winter and return north by early March. So I will post here as the finches spring plumage begins to emerge, then eventually their departure.
