Today on our Signs of Spring Walk we saw blooming dandelions, Whitlow grass, Texas redbud, phlox. The Texas mountain laurel has small buds. We also saw rosettes of daisies, bluebonnets, and columbine. The parsley and rosemary in our butterfly garden stayed green all winter. The lichens were colorful on the mountain laurel bark. At 10:51 am the temperature was in the 50s, it was windy and crystal clear.
