I have had a male robin in my yard all winter. He lives in my crab apple tree, which is located on the south side of our house. During the coldest part of the winter (Nov. & Dec.) he spent his nights under our back porch steps. Now that the snow is starting to melt a bit, I have seen him digging around the base of trees looking for worms.
