While visiting in Vermont, we observed two overwintering flocks of robins. Each flock was comprised of over 50 individuals. They were actively feeding on berries and seeds. Vermont had an exceptionally wet summer resulting in an abundance of food. Despite sub-zero temps, the robins appeared to by quite healthy.
