Our usual wintering Robins are here on our campus in Denver. They feast on Juniper berries,rose hips,dried grapes,dried crabapples,dried apples--and any other fruit items they can find.
The ones I have seen look like males in very plump condition.
One of the males treated me by sitting on the fence just outside my lower school science lab so I got to see him for good long time.

This morning on the way to school in Denver I saw a flock of approx.30 Robins feasting on the left overs of a fruit tree in a private yard.
