I often walk my dog at a county park, Richard Moya Park, some four or so miles east of Austin, TX.
1st sighting: On January 18, 2001, a flock of about 50 robins, both sexes, silent, all in trees and high up, along a large runningcreek (Onion Creek).
2nd sighting: On January 19, 2001, probably 25 robins on the ground, both sexes, an occasional call, but not very vocal.
3rd sighting: On both January 21 and 27, 2001, I saw and heard only single robins, flying and on the ground. These were more vocal and much more active.
