(A wave)appeared on the grounds of my office in Bulverde,... with a spacious not- very-well-kept tree-covered (live oak, mesquite, and chinaberry) lawn made up primarily of shade-tolerant ground covers rather than grass. Anyway, this flock of at least 100 very chubby birds stuck around for two days, Monday January 29 and 30, and did a very nice job of vacuuming up anything edible on the lawn.

I'll let you know if I see any more.
