Robin (WAVE seen)

Date: 02/04/2001

Number: 1

We just came to this site trying to figure out what's going on with robins in the winter. All winter in Boise we have been seeing flocks of robins and cedar waxwings. More robins than waxwings, but always some of each together. The robins and waxwings hang out in big flocks, filling nearby trees. We just wanted to know if this is normal, and why the two bird species are together like that.
