Robins are wintering birds here on the SC coast in large #. This winter, I
have seen flocks of 1000's numerous times feeding on the ground and flying
overhead. They
also breed here, but in greatly reduced #. I see and hear them every day,
often first noticing them flying overhead giving their call note.
