Just as note of interest, one of our master hummingbird banders reports she has seen no less than 25 orioles this winter season in garderns of Louisiana.
Both species, Bullock and Baltimore, tend to be attracted to some of the same blooming plants and to nectar feeders found in gardens that host wintering western hummingbirds.
