Greetings from Puget Sound. Our resident eagles, Bonnie and Clyde have been very active in the last week and have cleaned up their nest. Last night we spotted a traveling female circling over Bonnie's favorite perch. Bonnie called to her with calm chirps and barks until Clyde, (sitting a couple hundred yrds away on the nest),gave a high pitch cry of disapproval. Bonnie sprang from her perch at a high speed toward the traveler. After and aggressive tangle of talons the traveler left the area. However, this morning she was back and perched right outside our kitchen window. I got a couple pics and will forward to jn.
