More overwintering monarchs, mid coast of Texas: Monarchs were reported in "clusters" of 20 to 100 in Matagorda County, Calhoun County, and Aransas County during the Christmas Bird Count. From one to four in flight during the CBC in Galveston County and Nueces County in late December and early January.
