They are all over Jersey Village in Houston and down at Port Lavaca and Port O'Connor. Big and fat and many very 'red' breasts.

If by 'waves' you mean all over the ground feeding everywhere you look, yep,that would be accurate. They always arrive in large numbers in the south!
