A huge wave of robins (approximately 75 birds) flew over at 5:00 P.M. today while we were out filling the bird feeder in the back yard. This is something we have never experienced, and we weren't sure what kind of birds they were until we got the field glasses to look at some perched in the trees. They were beautiful, large robins! We had several extremely warm days last week, but today is cool again. The warm weather must have pushed them north quickly.
