Robin (First HEARD singing)

Date: 02/16/2001

Number: 1

I heard a Robin singing it's spring song in my yard this morning. It's very warm here - 70 degrees - but a cold front is coming in and it will be below freezing by Sunday night. This is typical weather for us this time of year. It warms up and the birds start singing then the temperature drops. This can go on until towards the end of March. The Titmice are singing and a Cardinal is arguing with its reflection in a window. This with the changing weather make it a little difficult to tell how serious they are.
