I was driving to work and slammed on my brakes when I drove through a flock of approx. 250 robins. I moved to st.Petersburg two years ago from Minneapolis Minnesota and this was the first time that I have seen a robin. I was amazed that I saw so many. I looked up the migratory paths and St. Petersburg doesn't seem to be on those paths. We are having some major fires in the center of the state right now with lots of blowing smoke. Maybe that's why they are over this far. For what ever reason, the experience sure brought joy to my day.
