For the first time ever in my life just over a hundred feet off the ground almost at zenith was one of the most magnificent sights I’ve ever seen while observing birds in flight. Under the clearest of the most pristine blue skies were the out-stretched wings of a “Bald Eagle”. (Adult Male?) I’ve never seen one in flight before and although it might be common for some birders to have seen them flying so low over the City I thought it extremely extraordinary and worth my sending this observation
