Today on our Signs of Spring Walk we saw Texas Red Bud in full bloom and we ate the delicious buds. We also saw Dutchman's britches with yellow blooms which smelled like lemon as we stomped across the field. There were mockingbirds singing and we saw a bluejay. We saw daisies, green moss and slenderstem bitterweeds. Bluebonnets are starting to bloom. We saw an Indian Paint brush in blooom, Whitlow grass, and wood sorrell.

In the garden there were blooming phlox, iris and fleabane.
