Robin (OTHER Observations)

Date: 02/23/2001

Number: 1

Many flights of robins continue to fly WEST in the evenings. I
noticed two on a holly tree at dawn this morning. The only time I hear
them sing is at nesting time. There is a local robin colony that has taken
up residency downtown at the courthouse, and I've heard them "sing"
occasionally. The cedar wax wings are flying to strip our mayhaw trees of
berries.
