I heard one the other day. But mostly they are still in flocks. The yards
are covered with snow so they are looking in the woodlands in areas near
running water which has just recently unfrozen. They are transitioning their
diet from berries to worms. Many winter here, surviving bitter cold and deep
snow/blizzards.
