Robin (OTHER Observations)

Date: 02/25/2001

Number: 1

Which brings me to what woke me with great excitement this morning with the
promise of spring. At 6:25 this morning, (sleeping with the window open),
there was a Mockingbird singing his heart out, and then the fellow Carolina
Wren joined in. I went out to the back deck and in the darkness listened to
the promising sound that spring is at least, just around the corner. Then
on the way home from church, passed yard after yard of Robins. Haven't
gotten that many robins in my yard since we moved to this house 3 years ago,
and when I did get home there were 3 robins in my yard, all doing there
little tippy toe run, head cock, get bug/worm dance. It sure does make one
smile at the wonders of spring. Going back out to the yard now to see what
else I can see. Cathy
