Robin (First HEARD singing)

Date: 02/12/2001

Number: 1

American Robins have been singing in Montgomery for quite awhile. I
heard them far more often during morning walks and bike rides in February
than in January, but they occasionally sing in January, too. Many, if not
most, of the birds that winter in Montgomery sing at least some of the time
during winter.

The birds that sing more or less constantly in the morning are
probably birds that will breed here. Since that is what you are after, you
could record February 12 for Montgomery.
