Robin (WAVE seen)

Date: 03/01/2001

Number: 1

Robins are widespread in Nova Scotia
most winters, as they are this year. These are migrants from further
north, presumably, but their presence makes it very difficult to detect the
return of our breeding population. Spring migrants rarely arrive here in
waves. Instead, they are simply "here", on territory, and singing, usually
by the end of March and early April.
