Was out again today and never even saw a robin but was thrilled to hear and see some red winged blackbirds. I think this is the earliest that I have ever seen them but will have to check my notes from last year to be sure. Just checked and it was March 6 that I saw my first rwbb last year and Feb 23 for the first robin in the city. When they are seen in the city, they are slowly arriving.

No robins singing but the red winged blackbirds were very vocal.
