Robin (WAVE seen)

Date: 02/27/2001

Number: 1

Here in Delaware County,we have robins all year round. Some will be
different ones since I understand they move North and South a short
way, probably in response to weather or food.Yesterday there were 100
here.I could see that they were eating something in the grass-not
worms. One brave one took a shower bath in the concrete trough under a
downspout that was pouring water off the roof.
This morning a song sparrow was singing its full song, accompanied by the
basses and baritones of the Canada geese and the crows.Up high in the
ancient Sycamore,Mr. Redbellied woodpecker soaked up some rays.A white
throated sparrow sang its whisper song a few times.
