Two weeks ago I first heard (singing and peek-ing) and then saw a flock of
Robins, 30-40 birds, and I think they were just passing through, because I
didn't see them again. It's possible they were overwintering in the
LaCrosse-LaCrescent area, but I hadn't seen any in La Crescent all winter.
They were moving and eating from Thornapple trees as they went.
You have to decide whether they were migrating or not. These birds were seen
on or near the 17th of Feb. in La Crescent, MN, which is in Houston County in
the far Southeast corner of the state.
