As we were driving south on Hwy.112 less than a mile north of Hwy. 8, 3 miles east of Odell, we saw 2 very large formations of snow geese. We estimated several hundred birds. There are a lot of farm ponds in the area, and they seemed to be circling and looking to come down. We generally have a lot of ducks and geese flying over or resting on area ponds.
