There has been a male robin in our garden for at least a couple of weeks.
He has been singing and defending his territory for those two weeks. He had
a female check him and a favored maple tree last week. No serious courtship
or nest building as yet.

The largest robin flocks have already swooshed through here. We still see
occasional smaller groups.
