Robin (First HEARD singing)

Date: 02/05/2001

Number: 1

Just wanted to let you know that the Robins were out singing about 5:30 am
this morning. Cool and windy here, so it surprised me to wake up and here
first the Mockingbird, he must have woke up the Robins, because when I went
and stood on the front porch to listen, the Robins were singing as well. It
was still dark, but we live in a wooded area and have a street light in our
side yard next to woods. That is where the singing was coming from. Didn't
ever see them, but I definitely felt blessed to have been able to start my
day with the song of the birds. Later, when I left to head to school there
was a pair of robins out in the front yard looking for breakfast. The
Mockingbird must have been napping :)
