Last week was our spring break. Over the break, two of our class members saw robins.
I saw a robin by my farmhouse. It was singing in the "peek and tut" voice. This robin had not been here before. The sun was shining; it was feeling like spring, although still on the cold side. (About 40 degrees) The lone robin was jumping from branch to branch and seemed very unsettled. As a note, in the next few days, other birds were singing in the morning, and this was new, too: the chickadee and the tufted titmouse changed their songs to their spring songs.
